Longtemps j'ai non pas méprisé mais gentiment moqué ma voisine, pour cette place inconsidérée et donnée à son toutou sous son toit et dans son cœur de vieille dame. Il m'est arrivé plus souvent qu'à mon tour de me poser la question de savoir qui, du canidé ou de l'octogénaire, avait dressé l'autre. Chaque question singulière possède sa réponse évidente… Bref ! Deux doigts plongent dans le tiroir, farfouillent, gratouillent, agrippent l'imprudente, ou la résignée, ou l'écervelée, ou l'illusionnée. Le tiroir se referme sur des frottements d'aise, des soupirs d'insatisfaction, peut-être un rictus de jalousie.
